I have gotten several calls from this number. I never answered but after reading some of the comments I decided to give them a call back and have some fun. It took less than 30 seconds for the guy to start swearing making us most valiant attempt at combining different offensive terms lol! I have a tweak on my iPhone that allows me to record my phone calls and I have to say too bad we can post recordings here. Y'all would have a blast playing the conversation over and over again!
They called and said i got a government grant.. i tried to answer his questions and he kept asking what so i tild him to have to people in the background to shut up if he could not hear... and he called me a mother f**ker and to go f**k myself. I am sure the US government would not do that.
I received a call from a man saying he was from the Government and I was chosen to receive an $8000 grant. He wanted to know if I wanted to have it direct deposited, or put on my credit card. I said mail me a check, I'm not giving you any info. He started yelling, "are you deaf", over and over. Tried to report it but the police said they don't care. You'd think they would try to track it, so that someone more gullible wouldn't be taken advantage of. He spoke poor English with an Indian accent. Lots of talking in the background.
I received several calls from this number and finally called them back. They explained that I had been awarded an $8000 grant. It took 6 weeks to get the money, but the check finally came in. I cashed it and bought a cruise to South America! Woot woot!
Alright, I can't do it. I read all of the feedback on the page, and then put the number on my blocked caller list. Thanks to all of the posters on sites like this for keeping scamers like these shut down.
