I have gotten several calls from this number. I never answered but after reading some of the comments I decided to give them a call back and have some fun. It took less than 30 seconds for the guy to start swearing making us most valiant attempt at combining different offensive terms lol! I have a tweak on my iPhone that allows me to record my phone calls and I have to say too bad we can post recordings here. Y'all would have a blast playing the conversation over and over again!
This number had been calling me for weeks. Today I was actually home so I answered. She said she was with a Federal Government Agency and I qualified for an $8,000 grant. Gave me a confirmation # & told me to call 240-324-6145 & to speak to Johnny something....I will call # & report what I find out from that #...these people should be prosecuted for doing this to people!!
I forgot to mention in my previous post that I told her it sounded like a scam and she said, "Maam I can assure you this is not a scam. She was EXTREMELY HARD to understand also.
When I got a call from this number over 4 times in the last week or so I decided to answer expecting it to be a telemarketer or something. It was a man with a very strong accent and I never disclosed that I was the person he asked for. I then asked who it was and he said he was from the United States Federal Department... is that even a thing? Haha. As soon as I asked what this call was regarding he hung up.... looked this number up on Google and it seems as though I am not the only one who realizes this is a scam. REPORT THIS NUMBER
