I get this call all the time (from Marysville, WA) on my cell phone... at work, at home on Sunday, all the time. I thought my number was registered on NO CALL. Once I answered (at work), heard the word "survey", hung up.
Obviously a newly spoofed number. 7 pages of notes in the last 24 hours alone. Shows that even community blacklisting will not stop someone from spoofing a new number every day if they wish. I use a voip service that all calls from other area codes go straight to voice mail. Friends family and local area codes do! get through. This seems to be the only answer to all these phone call problems. Bought my own "ata voip adaptor" and researched at dslreports.com good byod (bring your own device) providers. Call treatments are so much better with these independent providers. Still I am glad many people have not done this otherwise I would not have the resources of all the pages of 1800 notes to tell me why someone called my voice mail and just click on busy tone for said number for the next time they call. Worst thing they do that happens periodically is spoof number one digit different than my own number. Luckily it is always the same one digit and can send all those calls to busy tone with wildcard treatments. Research it and do it. You will never go back.
I get these calls as well. I don't know a way to stop them from calling me, but what I do is add them to a phone group on my cell phone that has a "silent" ringtone. I have 2 "do not answer" contacts that contain about 20 numbers. At least when I get a call from any of these numbers, my phone does not ring, and it does not bother me. If you have a land line and get these calls, I don't know a solution for that.
Same for me. Calling my cell. How do they get these numbers?
Only number shows on Caller ID. Why can no one prosecute for numbers on Do Not Call list?
Did not answer. Burns anyone with cell phone calls when it takes from the 'Minutes'.
