have gotten numerous calls over past year - always ID as 'card services' - today from this number. Said can lower my interest rates on all cards, getting calls because paid cards on time for last 6 months, not a debt consolidation company, not a sales call - duh. Refused to remove my number, said no call list from which to remove number. Asked for supervisor; woman said she supervisor, owner next step up and he not in.
this is a telelmarket number that keeps calling , and if you answer and talk to the in a mean tone, they keep calling you back every few secondsi keep telling them to lose my number and they said i needed an attitude adjustment
i am continuously getting phone calls from this number and it starts as a recording "Hi this is Rachel from Card Services" and when i hit one to try and get my number removed i am hung up on.
Do not press any number, do not speak to any representative, do not call the number back. That's just validates your number to be active and to be sold to other criminals.
This scam is notorious, blocking number is useless. They stay in business because everyday someone across north America falls for it.
Best advice is report and warn. The do not call list does work. These network of criminals have become relentless and desperate. If you received one call you will receive more. Just repetitive the number to the appropriate authorities but more importantly warn others. I can't stress that enough. WARN OTHERS. Telemarketing scams are on the rise and people fall for it everyday. All it takes is just one person to lose thousands in just under 5 minutes (something it takes us hardworking folks weeks to do). All they want to do is steal your personal information.
Never five out sensitive information over the phone, especially to people calling from suspicious numbers. All these numbers are spoofed/faked.
Report to DNC list and warn. *57 to trace the call.
