I am on the 'Do Not Call' Registry and so not appreciate this marketer calling. I know it was not from my credit card company, since the rates were higher than I have.
I just received a call on my cell from this. It's a recording about lowering interest rates. Then asks you to press 1 for someone live.
So I pressed 1 and got somebody. They said "Card member services" or something like that. I said "Which card is this in reference to?" And he said "Uh, hold on." Put me on hold and about a 50 seconds later, I hung up.
Just received a call from 360-529-6190. Told me they work with numerous credit card companies to reduce my rate. After I asked a few questions they hung up on me. Cannot call back. I believe this is a scam.
Answered on my cell a recorded message re: I have problems with my credit card addounts.. Not likely... I keep them at a 0 balance. My #'s are on the gov't no call list. HOW DOES ONE STOP THIS SPAM? i HAVE A NEW PHONE & i CANNOT BLOCK ANYMORE!?
