Just got a call from them on my cell. I recognized the Washington area code and knew there was no one in Washington that I talk to anymore, so I didn't answer. After reading this, I'm glad I didn't. Added the number to my built-in block list. Seems I'm getting a lot of these type calls lately. Oddly, I've not given out my number or registered it anywhere in a very long time.
One of these numbers called me last week (as well as 2-3 times a week for the last however many months). I told him that they'd called several times (he told me hey hadn't) and had been reported, which seemed to make him nervous. But they continue to call. I've been hung up on several times as well. I don't have a credit card. I want off of these lists!!!!
Keep getting calls from "card member services" with an automated recording about reviewing my accounts to see if I'm elligible for lower rates or higher credit limit. I'm on the DNC registry and they just keep calling my cell and home phone numbers. How do I get them to stop
A little googling gives me additional numbers:
360-529-6100, 360-529-6104, 360-529-6105, 360-529-6106, 360-529-6122, 360-529-6136, 360-529-6163, 360-529-6170, 360-529-6175, 360-529-6190, 360-529-6199
www.complaintwire.org has a listing for "Card Member Services" where a few of these numbers were posted, along with many others.
Some reports say Pacifictel was on the caller ID. Others say New A Co was on the caller ID. Some say home security systems, other say consolidate or lower credit card rates/debt. Most say dead air, hang ups or something similar.
