I received a call from this number, as well. They claim to be IRS and have an arrest warrant in my name. This is not true. The IRS does not call with this information.
Leaving 2-3 messages a day on my cell, wife's cell, and home phones. Says that we are under investigation and that an arrest warrant has been issued! CRAZY! It sure seems like there should be someone in law enforcement could track the scammer down and put an end to the threats and harassment. I'm sure there are laws being broken and that they could catch someone with the phone number...???

Yep Yep! I got the call this afternoon, I let the guy with the Accent go on about he is OFFICER "ID#" IRM09089 and there was 3 counts of fraud and I have a warrant and owe.... So after hearing all that within three minutes of the phone call, I Spoke very Aggressively in order to speak OVER him and I said< "You havent even asked me my Name?!" WTF? I did civil litigation and i know the first thing in litigation is you ALWAYS Identify that your speaking with the Debtor! People get sewed for telling the wrong person Confidential information. Its against our constitutional rights! Also, Im pretty sure I should be the one saying, Theres GOING to be a warrant issued for your arrest. For in-personating an officer and also for using the IRS as your logo for your means of theft. I pray that these people get caught. Because I know that my Fiance and Myself both work waaaaaaay to hard to get our peace. And to have a phone call like that is heart wrenching. For the first 5 seconds that is, before yor brain realizes nothing is adding up. But IM sure everyone on here had the same 5inch heart attack. Hope this helps.
I got a robo message just repeatedly telling me to dial this phone number back.
There needs to be SCAM as an option for call type below.... this is beyond telemarketing
