I received a call from this number, as well. They claim to be IRS and have an arrest warrant in my name. This is not true. The IRS does not call with this information.
I had been getting calls like this in the past few months, maybe for about 3 days, but from a different number based in DC also. Now, I am getting calls from this 360-562-9014 DC number with the same robotic voice speaking the script others have already described here. I will ignore assuming this to be a scam. I have called the number back in the past but no one answers and there is no greeting or such
I attempted to call back and it was a man with a heavy accent. The min I started asking questions he hung up. I tried to call again and refused to answer. It's a mobile number.
I asked the caller to email ,mail or fax me documents proving I have a debt. I asked how in the hell if I owed a debt from 2010-2015 why wasnt my refunds with held by the IRS. He said they don't take money for debts through your taxes. He threat me with a warrant if the supposed $4900 debt is paid in full today. I argued that I wasn't paying s*** . Then he was willing to settle for $500.then $100. To funny
