Just received a robocall from this scammer, a long recorded message about upside down mortgages and the HEFA (sp.?) program, etc. I always try to get a human on the line so I can ask for the company name but these jerks seem to be getting wise to that because you're just connected to a recording that wants you to leave your name and phone number, etc.
We are on the DNC list.
NOTE: if it's been a few years since you signed up for the Do Not Call list, you need to do it again because it expires in five years. I just couldn't believe it had already been five years but it had! And our listing had expired. Even if it hasn't been, doing it again doesn't hurt and you can at least be sure your listing is active.
The fact that ours had expired may be why we've started to get these calls again.
