I also received a call from this # & I did not answer and allowed it to go to VM. As we all know, no one from the IRS would hire someone who can barely speak or be understood in broken English. I reported this number to immediate family member who happens to be in law enforcement and advised me to file complaint not just with www.tigta.gov, but also on a local level. I would urge all on this blog who have been contacted by this Habibi sounding looser to file a complaint with www.tigta.gov to prevent individuals such as our older parents or grand parents who may fall pray by these predators . It really is f%$#@& sad when they take advantage of people who are on a fixed income or take their life savings to someone who is already struggling. I urge you all to take action and protect your rights from being violated by a foreign criminal who probably is not even so supposed to be in this country.
I had 3 phone messages on my cell phone from a man with a very thick accent and very hard to understand. He claimed that there is a lawsuit against us and we need to call and find out about the case and must be done today..
Man with Eastern Indian accent... said he was from the IRS instituting a federal Investigation. I needed to call back immediately or risk going to jail. Told him I was reporting to FCC, my father was with the IRS ... he hung up.
