For those of you being harrassed, this website is GOLD re: getting rid of overzealous and illegal collectors (for instance, they can't come back to you 20 years after certain debts etc.).
Once on the website, Clark Howard has a ton of very helpful links to gov't agencies dealing with this sort of stuff.
Calls from 360-885-4395 are from Wells Fargo Financial credit card collection department, and could be for other financial services that Wells Fargo Financial provides. Calls from this number are generated from an automated service, usually to inform you of an overdue payment, and if not answered, will be sent repeatedly, several times a day, and on weekends until payment is received or payment arrangements are made with a customer service representative. Their auto-dialer service seems to have no logic built-in to cycle your number through it so that you don't feel as though you are being harrassed by their collection department because on several instances, I have seen up to 20 calls in one day from this phone number.

I don't know why I would be receiving calls from Wells Fargo since I don't do business with them. Also, if they continue to call me and and I answer, I will be equally aggressive in pursuing them for harassing phone calls. The law is very clear about debt collectors and harassing phone calls. When I got divorce ten+ years ago, the debt collection fools kept calling me about her debt. They made threats, try to bully me into paying. I sent them letters informing them that I was divorced from the person that they were looking for, I was not a co-signer or in any other way involved with her debt, that they were not to contact me, except to acknowledge that they had received my letter. I then kept records of every phone call, letter, etc. that I received. After 3 months of harassment, I went to a lawyer and sued. Mellon Bank ended up paying me a pretty settlement before we went to court. Several other creditors ceased to contact me once they received a letter from my attorney telling them that if they didn't, we would see them in court. There is nothing wrong with fighting back against harassment, even if you owe money. They do not have the right to harass you.
They are so persistent -- they will call you up at least 1/2 dozen times a day until you answer. When you do answer the phone, they are dead set on you paying the amount, whether you have the money or not!
I guess the person who had my phone number and extention before me owes Wells Fargo a lot of money, because I receive calls from the following numbers (for Wells Fargo Financial Cards) at least once every hour on really bad days:
605-782-5065,
515-331-9485,
972-550-5000,
800-947-5024, and
360-885-4395
I've told them constantly that she no longer has my extention, but they can't seem to note the system or remove my number from their auto-dialer.
