Company continues to call and ask about my smoke detectors despite multiple requests to stop calling. My phone number is registered on the national DNC list.
It is just after 3 pm. July 1, 2015(central time zone) This number has already called my house 6 times. It rings 2-3 times and they hang up. I do not have an answering machine or voice mail. I came here to look it up. The caller ID says FLORIDA CALL. Whatever that means. I do not want to call the number back. It seems like when you do that some times you make it worse, like you let them know it's a working number or something. The number it is calling is a new landline for me and I have yet to add it to the DNC(which is a joke anyway). But I will play along and add it just so I can start answering the phone and saying it's on the list do not call back or else....like that ever worked. Why is telemarketing even a thing still???? I think I'll unplug the phone for the rest of the day. It's a shame I can not have a peaceful afternoon inside the 4 walls of my own home without unplugging a phone.
