Got the call, answered and heard nothing so I hung up. I have a Maine number but live in San Francisco and I get those car warranty calls all the time on my land line. Has anyone tried donotcall.gov ?
Got a call from the same number twice today on a new cell phone that is about a month old.
When I call back from a work number the number is temporarily disconnected.
From experience, I think that this is an offshore call center that is spoofing this number, selling whatever. Likely one of various scams. Car Warranties seem to be a popular one at the moment. I don't think it is the real owner (or previous owner) of this number calling.

I am not listing the street address to protect this person, simply because I think they are a victim and someone is spoofing their phone number.
