Same thing happened when they called me. I was told that my personal information was given to their office. When i asked the guy wouldnt tell me what information but he wanted my address and social security number to "verify who i am."
I am sick and tired of calls from this number! And then when they call there is complete silence on the other end. VERY disruptive and intrusive. I called today asking them to take me off their list, so hopefully this is the end! They've no reason to be calling me.
I too spoke with a Donna. Calling on a bill from Nov that I sent to a collection agency billing me for it. I told her the co that billed it got paid. She said that wasnt them and that she didnt believe Alegent would send it another debt collector. I said ghat is between you and them. I paid it, have a conf # abd take it up with them. She insisted her bill was different. I said I only had one MRI on that date. I paid cash at the time for part of it and couldnt pay the rest til I got my taxes back and when I did, I paid all as promised. She kept arguing and then said I owed $96 on a bill from 2008. I said no, I walked into the er on crutches with a possible broken ankle, waited 1 hr and 50 mins and no one had come to see me in that time at all so I hobbled back out. Called the head hauncho the next day to complain that there was no one else in the ER but me so why was i ignored? He apologized all over the place and I told him not to bill me for services I didnt receive. Never saw a bill. MCA can call all they want but one is paid and the other never will be. I also told her she was rude and asked how my past personally affects her. She hung up on me lol
