Just called the # back, and it was sprint, my bill was past due and the payment i made on friday had not cleared my bank yet ...........they wanted no personal info from me, sent me a text confirming my call to them for a payment arrangement
They had my name and told me to call the 402 number.
The REAL Sprint/Nextel has toll-free numbers AND their dunning messages always give the website.
THIS is a scam. If you don't have Sprint/Nextel, ignore it it if you DO have Sprint/Nextel go to the website or you can contact them-I am not sure but I think it's *6.
Just received a call claiming they were from Sprint. Sent it to voice-mail. Message stated they had urgent information regarding my account ending in _ _ _ _, never gave the _ _ _ _. Sprint will send a couple texts before they call, and they call from and 800 number and have a female voice for their messages. Also they ask you to contact Sprint customer service by calling 800-_ _ _-_ _ _ _ or by dialing *_.
Received a call this morning from the number; no message left, looked up the number and now I am blocking that number. Sprint can call me from an 800 number if they really want to talk to me, and why was there no message left IF it was supposedly Sprint????
It is Sprint. The Senior Management person you spoke to just doesn't know their auto dialer number. I have a Sprint account and get the call every month to remind me to pay my bill.
