Just called the # back, and it was sprint, my bill was past due and the payment i made on friday had not cleared my bank yet ...........they wanted no personal info from me, sent me a text confirming my call to them for a payment arrangement
It is Sprint. go to tnid.us (which is a national Telephone Number ID lookup) and you'll see the number belongs to Sprint. It's not a scam and it's not a hoax.
I been with sprint over 10 years. This is sprint auto dialer. I have a contact at the FBI., they check this number and it's sprint auto dialer to remind you do pay your cell bill. I stay behind on bills, every month I get a text from sprint then a call from this number! bottom line it's sprint! If u answer u hear a automated*. Voice. Never a person asking for info.
Nope kiddo, it is not Sprint. It is a phising scam and here is the information located on the number in question:
Area Code:402
City/State:Omaha, NE
Zip (primary):-
County:Douglas
Time Zone:Central (2:36 pm)
Type:Mobile
Licensed by:Qwest Corporation
Other Formats:4022201561
To those who don't understand, in no way would Sprint use Qwest for a moble number to do their "collections".
Agree it's not Sprint but 402-220-1561 can be spoofed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing so it might not even be Qwest or Century Link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qwest
