yep, got exact same call..I asked the woman 3x for her name and all 3x it was this is the Chamber of Commerce..She wante dme toverify address of business, I told her I had this same conversation with someone else and they should have it on file. (No, I didn't have conversation previously, that was a lie..LOL) She, then said she'd make a note of it and that was it.
Called my palce of work today. Asked if the business name was still the same, if the address was still the same, if the owner was still the same, and how many employees we had last year. I told them I wasn't sure, I've only been here for a year. Then asked who was calling and they had already hung up on me. What is the deal? What do these people stand to gain from this information?
Called both incoming lines at the same time. No one there when I answered. Checked voicemail and they left a voicemail: "Is this (company name), hello.. hello, thank you for your time.

Well...they've called hear more than once...most R hang-ups. I spoke to a dude today and he asked the usual for
'up dating' purposes. I asked several times to repeat things and then asked them three times who they were. Didn't have a good connection and I'm hearing impaired.
