I've been getting calls from this number every few days for the last two weeks or so. I also live in Anchorage, and I never answer and they never leave a message. It's annoying and I don't know how they got my cell phone number. If it's true that they were hired by GCI, I'll definitely be calling GCI to give them a piece of my mind. And to request that they remove me from their call list.
What's the point of hiring this company to generate sales when they're just hanging up on everyone anyway?
I'd also like to add that ACS is my cell phone carrier, so as far as GCI blocking the number, I doubt that would work. I do use GCI for cable and internet, but I do not have home phone service.
I have received a call from this number and it comes up iowa caller. i did not answer. not even 5 minutes later another call but this time it said blocked call. very annoying and is a reason i would rather not have landline phone.
