These idiots called looking for a member of my household (common name). Birth date was incorrect, but they asked my husband "do any of these addresses sound familiar?" A little freaked out at first because of the "bench warrant" excuse". RED FLAG when they said they needed a credit card number. 1) An officer of the court IS NOT going to call to inform you that you have a warrant. 2) An officer of the court will certainly not ask for payment over the phone. In my humble opinion, this phone call was not only a scare tactic, but a scam!!!!
I have been getting calls from 404 564 3639 saying I owe them money for a bounty hunter and that I missed my court date I had no idea what they where talking about.. They claim to be a litigation company and are saying they are going to be arrest me. My husband called them and they did not want to talk to him. Then I stayed at a hotel a friend works at when all this started with this company if you want to call them that. So I had returned there call from the hotel. Over a week later they call that hotel looking for me. My friend works in the legal field and asked them are they a collection company or do they do litigation the woman would never answer my friend. Then my friend told her the litigation has to deal with lawyers and the woman from they company said nothing. I am tired of these people calling and bothering me. Something needs to be done about these people and this company.
Ok so I got caught in this scam. Threatened me with a warrant . I gave them a credit card and paid $ 265 for what I don't know. I don't even know what debt it was for. What should I do now? Does anyone know how I can get my $ back?Never again!
THIS PERSON SAYS HIS NAME AGENT KEMP DEMAND ME TO PAY MY BILL NOW OR SET UP A PLAN SO I GAVE HIM A CARD NUMBER AND HE WASN'T GOING TO PUT IT THROUGH TILL NEXT WEEK WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT COULD NOT PAY TODAY. THAN HAD MY HUSBAND CALL BACK AND WOMAN ANSWER SAYS THAT THE CARD WAS A FRAUD. WHY DID HE PUT IT THROUGH BEFORE NEXT WEEK? THEY ARE FRAUDS OH, AND THE CARD WAS OLD .LOL.
