I just now recieved a call from "samantha". she said i had a lawsuit in my name and SS# , court on Monday and she asked me if i had a lawyer. any idea on how to report this. I never revceived any funds from these people. By the way, this "samantha" called my work.
The lady Samantha just called my job and left a message. I called back and talked to a guy named David and he told me that I will be arrested on tomorrow morning when I go to court. Who are these people I dont know anything they are talking about. How can we put a stop to this.
this lady named samantha keeps calling from this number telling me i owe payday loans and that i need to pay or go to jail. says i will be arrested the next day if i dont make arrangements with her to settle out of court. she calls my cell and my work numerous times a day. how do i find out who this is and make it stop.
received these calls and was threatened with jail time. agreed to supposedly settle out of court and made pmt to them. asked for a receipt to be sent and was told we have another file on u and when u pay that one we will send a receipt for both. had to pay with a green dot card only and wanted a fax of the receipt where i paid for it. have not received a receipt from "samantha" as of yet and she has been calling 10 to 20 times a day but i have not answered. she will not receive another dime from me until she proves to me who she is., researched the number but no company can come up with a name associated with the acct. what should be my next step to handle this. they need to be prosecuted for this. someone please reply.
