I just got a call back from Laura steven at the same number previously mentioned asking me how if I was having any luck getting the money to keep myself out of prison when I told her I knew this was a scam she told me that she was a state employee and that I would be going to jail so I guess I'm going to jail today
Read the other posts. This is a total scam. Only judges and DMV can suspend DLs. Only judges issue warrants and they are only issued to duly constituted law enforcement officers. Debt collectors cannot get warrants and debt collectors have no influence on the criminal justice system. Being in debt is not a crime and you cant be arrested for it. There are no warrants. Just scammers attempting to get money out of you.
Thy have no information because they don't want to be identified. Nothing is going to happen. Ignore and block the calls.
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now. If you can find them.
Made me mad too. I'm a vet too. I called that 404 number. They call themselves Arbitrary Mediations or some similar unbelievably stupid name. Hard to make out. These people are claiming to be a state agency that handles check fraud , child support and so forth. Woman hung up when I called her down on what she was doing. Arrogant . Openly admits to impersonating a state agency. Another white collar band of criminals.
Anybody receiving a call from this group should immediately contact their local law enforcement and local state attorney general. These people are openly admitting to being members of states agencies.
