They're getting smarter! Today she had a name for the loan place, but couldn't give me when the loan was taken out and had an address almost 10 years old.
We have gotten a few of these calls from Arbitration Services, this last one was the number in the message of 404-724-5710 and a case number of 2015-1604206 with a supposed allegations against my son. The person that left the msg said their name was director Ava Gold. Also stated there had been a 10 day notification sent to him. Scam?????
Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a DIME until the debt is validated.
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now. If you can find them.
Sometimes they go by the stupid name Arbitrary Services. Whoever came up iwth that scam name is both stupid and criminal.
Received 4 calls in the space of 15 minutes on 2 numbers regarding a person we did not know. His name was kyle turner he was very rude telling me to shut up repeatedly.
and threatened warrants etc.
The number he used was 404 724 5709.
I just received a call asking for my son from Kyle Tucker at Arbitrary Services...
phone # was 404-724-5709 and he wanted to speak to him about someone
going to turn him over and file a report to courts...he said he could not tell me
what it was about, but if he did not call by 6pm his driver license would be revoked
and cops would come and arrest him....he needed Mike's social security number
and would ONLY talk to him.....I am calling my police department and phone company
and complaining about these scams......I have blood pressure problems as it is, but I
do not need nutso people like this calling and making threats. Be wise and check out
weird phone calls.
