This number came in at 2:00 pm on 3/13/12. I don't answer the phone, if I do not recognize the Caller ID. Therefore, I did not pick up so I do not know the name of this spammer. Using reverse lookup I saw it came from a mobile phone in MT. Am going to report this number to the "Do Not Call" Complaint site. Am getting really sick of these calls. I wish the government would do something about this like they promised when I signed up for the "Do Not Call Registry" back in 2003. I keep reporting these numbers but I still get the calls.
I've asked them to stop calling me several times. I am calling my attorney now. This is ridiculous! I pressed "1" to speak with an operator and told her that I do not want to receive any further phone calls and she hung up on me! No more.........I'm done with them. Thankfully, a family member is an attorney!
This company calls itself "Credit Card Services" and told me they are based in Orlando, FL. This is my third call this week from three different numbers advertising the same thing. When I asked to be on their do not call list, they hang up on me every time. Usually call around noon.
These calls come from different caller ID numbers almost every time.
I usually just hang up. But the last two times, I answer and press 1.
When the scammer agent comes on line, I ask for company name and address. They ask why. I say, you called me. They hang up.
I perviously have reported this scam on the FCC no-call web site. Got an automated response that my complaint had been logged. I reported it again, today.
