Got call...ID said from Montana. Same lines as above about lowering credit card rate etc. Hit 2 to remove our number...got a rep with a very heavy indian accent. Said in order to remove our number I needed to give him my credit card number. I said no way...he said they already had it and all I had to do was confirm it! SCAM!!!
am on don't call list i hope some eager young gov't prosecutor reads this site and gets a notch on his gun for scuttling these (participle deleted) recta.. ( Is that proper inflection for second declension accusative plural of rectum?? )
Definitely a scammer. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my credit card account or rating!
I don't talk to them. Usually this kind of scam continues for a bit and then they give up.
Just pressed one because we've filed bankruptcy, and our creditors can't legally be calling us. Was ready to ream someone out, but he answered "Hello, how may I help you?" I said, "You called me - what do you need?" "Did you press 1 to find out how to lower your interest rate?" "I pressed 1 to remind you that I've filed bankruptcy and you're violating the stay by calling me. Should we continue?" CLICK :)
