I just got a call on this number. But with Spoof call, they can call you from any number and list another number, as the source. And it's not their number. So who knows who is really calling these days?
I don't answer numbers I don't know but look them up online if they don't leave a message. Crazy to see all of you out there doing the same thing. I didn't answer and there was no message. When I called back it just rang busy(probably everyone else trying to see who it is too). I tried again and it gave me the same 'disconnected number' message as I see everyone else has received.
I just got this call this morning too like everyone else on my celphone. Pretty amazing the power of the internet, when you can plug a number into google and find all you people!
My call , which I answered was the CC "they can lower my interest rate on my credit card" blah blah blah, Press 1 to speak to rep, 2 to "do not call" anymore. Of course, my own CC company would let me know who they are first!
That is how you know between scam/not scam, the scammers NEVER let you know up front who they are! I'll go register a complaint too! Power to the people!
