I am located in Vermont. Caller ID indicated call was from "Orlando, FL"...I did not pick up and they did not leave any message on machine. I am on the Do Not Call list, but continue to receive such calls like this. I will make a note to report this number to the Do Not Call website.
I just received a call from this number too. They claim to be "card services" and want to lower my interest rate on a credit card. I DONT HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS!!!! THIS CALL IS FROM A SPOOF DIALER they claim to be "card services" with offer to lower CC interest rates..I just reported this # to local auth. & my phone co and to the DO NOT CALL LIST.

I got a call from this number to my land based phone a few mins ago. Woman claimed that she was from my car warranty service and wanted to extend my warranty on my car. I asked which car and what automotive company she was from and she said the car that was 2005 model or later. I told her I knew that she was not from the auto maker and that I was on the Do Not Call Registry. She hung up on me. I reported the phone number to the Do Not Call Registry. I've also been getting much spam to my cell phone. This stuff is out of control!
I got a call today (March 12, 2007) at 11:40 CDT. I answered and got a recorded message which claimed to be a courtesy call reminding me that the warranty on the vehicle I'm driving is about to expire. I immediately filed a complaint with the FTC on the do not call web page.
