They did they same thing to me! Even though the person they were wanting to talk to didnt live in our house! I got so mad I would call them about 20 to 50 times a day. Everytime they answered i would say! "I was just wanting to call you all the time because you call me all the time! As soon as they went to reply I would say, Hold that thought, I am calling you right back! Then I would call them right back and do it about 20 to 50 times! After about the third day they finilly pulled my number from there PC. Guess they got tired of me calling them 20 to 50 times a day! ~LOL~ I told them I was disabled and bothering them was fun I had nothing else to do! ~LOL~
I just got a call from this number and see that it is the Portfolio people. I now have 17 numbers that they have called me from over the last year. When they call, I answer and slap the microphone until they hang up or if I'm feeling really happy, I'll scream into the phone or blast music. They are relentless and I attempted one conversation and agree it is best to NOT ENGAGE with them and if you get an unknown number, do not answer, call it back and put it on the list with the other 17 numbers they call from so you know not to answer.
These people are trying to collect on a debt that isn't even mine. Somewhere along the line they got hold of the wrong phone number, and regardless of how many times I tell them I am not the person they are looking for, they keep calling. I just always use my caller id and never answer the phone unless I know who's calling.
