We got a call today as well stating they were from AT&T. Stating all kinds of things about our AT&T bill and long distance and how the rates were going to be lowered, but I had to agree to it now. When I told her I'd be calling AT&T myself about these rates, she said "Well, just because it's Christmas doesn't mean they're going to be generous with you", WTH?
They are slammers - don't agree to anything with them!
calls and says they are from qwest claimming going to have additional charges to my long distance. tried to call back machine says thank you and hangs up
Called once before, didn't answer it. Called a few minutes ago, gave me some crap about lowering my rates (phone?) to 5.95. Right. I put my husband on the phone, same garbarge. I got back on line told the woman we weren't buying anything and they hung up. .
guy called said verizon had signed a new contract for long distance and we would see some changes on bill for long distance. I said "no they didnt"...i could hear the hot box call room in backgound.
