I just got one of these calls today. Same story about a free nights stay at a Hilton in Manhattan or Orlando. I WORK for Hilton but have no idea what this call is about. Dont trust it. I am reporting it to Hilton today.
I have been getting calls from these people. After reading this forum I picked up and asked to be removed from there list and I didn't want anything from them. He then goes OK OK but you don't want a FREE trip to Orlando. No please remove.
I know for a fact that a Hampton Inn gave them my number. I know this because I gave them my name, information and credit card number BUT my employees name for the room. They keep calling asking for her and asking me if I am MR. Her last name.
I am going to be contacting the manager at the Hampton Inn tomorrow.
Repeated calls from this number, caller neglects to leave voice message. Based on other reports on this number, I suspect it is part of an identity theft attempt.
