I just got one of these calls today. Same story about a free nights stay at a Hilton in Manhattan or Orlando. I WORK for Hilton but have no idea what this call is about. Dont trust it. I am reporting it to Hilton today.
They have called twice in one week. They just scream my first name into the answering machine a few time and hang up. No message. I could hear all the other telemarketers in the background.
This number has been calling me the last couple of days and when I answer there is no one there and they leave no message. I just stayed at a Hilton last week so what the others are saying sounds right. I will just ignore this number from now on.
This number has been calling my cell phone as well several times over the past few days. I haven't bothered answering it, and they leave no voice message. My number is on the national do not call registry. I stayed at a Hampton Inn (which is owned by Hilton) about 3 weeks ago, wondering if that's how they got my number.
Caller id says "Hilton".
After I said " do not call this number" and hung up , he called twice within the hour!
They have been calling for a week or more.
I reported the number to the "Do Not Call Registry"
