I have received half a dozen calls from "Beth" at this number looking for a real estate agent that sells homes in [my] area. I was immediately suspicious due to the area code being far from here, but by the third voicemail I realized that she is using the exact same script on each call - definitely sketchy. I finally set my phone to reject her future calls. It must really stick to have her job...
I am in Montgomery County PA. Caller called me from this Orlando number and left a message saying he was looking for a company that does our line of work for the Montgomery Township area and wanted to talk to us to see if we do business in that area. We do. Since it seemed like a weird number and maybe wasnt an actual customer, I looked the number up and saw all the comments. Just looking for money to advertise with him I suppose.
I received a call from this number. Danielle wanted to speak to our marketing director. I let her know she was not available but if I could take a good contact number and what it was in regards to. She hesitated and said "Fairfax Fire and Rescue and its for a Health and Wellness program". This is truly sad they use the Local Fire and Rescue companies to try and lure people.
Just received a call from Lisa PH# 1-407-990-1600 stating she was with my local Fire Dept. She gave me a website even http://www.firesafetymagnets.com
Do not give them any money, it is a SCAM, you can Google it. Just so happens my office has a contract with my local Fire Dept, so I just gave them a call. They know nothing of this and they do not give out Whiteboard Refrigerator Magnets out to Children. Ha Ha, nice try!
I let the call go to my voice mail. I Googled the phone number and saw this post. Thank you. The message sounds personalized. But I fell for something similar before. .
