I have received half a dozen calls from "Beth" at this number looking for a real estate agent that sells homes in [my] area. I was immediately suspicious due to the area code being far from here, but by the third voicemail I realized that she is using the exact same script on each call - definitely sketchy. I finally set my phone to reject her future calls. It must really stick to have her job...
Ken Fuller from the same number says he's collecting money ("tax deductible") for the St. Petersburg Fire Department. The call came from Altamonte Springs, about six counties distant. "I'm in charge of putting together a program for the fire department in St. Petersburg" in which "firefighters will hand out (magnets) at parades and homeowner group meetings" and other such gatherings for the next 18 months," Ken assured me. I'd already called SPFD administration; they'd never heard of Ken Fuller nor had they authorized such a campaign. Boldly, Ken offered up a name who had "signed the contract" with him. Upon calling SPFD again, I learned that person has been gone for more than a year. I know better than to spend any more time on this "opportunity."
Received a voice mail from this number from a woman named Samantha Katzin (?) saying she is looking for a realtor in my area and for me to call back Monday. I will not be returning the call.
Kyle called saying he was from the "local fire department". When I asked WHICH one, he could not answer the question. He goes into his script about supporting the fire department with advertising and how our company is "special". when I ask why we are soooo special, he gets all flustered. When I tell him we are not interested, Kyle turns mean. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WON'T SUPPORT THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT? Kyle then gets a dial tone in his ear. It was a VERY LOUD call center based on the background noise.
Apparently you didn't listen to what they have to offer. I've bought an ad on their boards twice now in two different communities and have had a pretty good response. The fire departments use the emergency contact boards as a tool to promote fire safety awareness. They hand them out and I'm the only realtor on their board. Price is very reasonable and I've sold homes as a result of it.
Wrong. Why post to this board if you're going to be untruthful. The fire dept in St. Pete LOVES these magnets and will tell you that themselves. Apparently you didn't speak with Lana at St. Pete FD.
