I received a call from this number on my cell. I did not answer it. No message was left. I tried to call the number back and got a recording that the number was not in service. I googled it and found a link to this site.
I did some investigation work on this number. It is not HP who is calling you. This is a company who is impersonating HP. I suggest you do not do business with them.
I spent considerable time on the phone yesterday with HP regarding a defective printer. They told me I would get a call yesterday or early today regarding the shipping of a replacement, since mine is under warranty. No call yesterday, but two calls mid-day today that left unintelligible messages - no louder than a whisper - and not a native English speaker. Can't wait till I'm home to receive their call! Why do these companies insist on outsourcing and then try to use people on the phone who do not speak English well enough to be understood? I know the online chat person I dealt with yesterday was also a non-native speaker because her sentence construction was funny, but at least I could READ what she was saying & figure it out.
I got a call for my HP Laptop asking if everything was working well, it was a foreign accented caller. I answered one question, but I immediately hung up after they told me the call could be monitored for research purposes. I really didn't want to have my call recorded and it could possibly be used for fraudulent activities. I was suspicious so I ended the call.
Receiving calls from this number every day for the past two weeks. No ID, no message left. Googled it like everyone else: Service Escalation, 150 S First St, San Jose, CA 95113-2600.
