Was woken up at 12:30 A.M. with a call from this number to my cell phone. A recording says my mastercard from 5th 3rd bank was suspended and to press 1 for more information. Since I don't have a credit card it was a no brainer. What astounds me is that these calls have been being made for at least four years now, seeing the original dates on this forum going back to 2010. Also, the Do Not Call registry only applies to legitimate businesses trying to sell you something. It doesn't keep scum bags from calling random numbers in the middle of the night, sadly.
phone scam stating that your credit card has been cancelled due to unauthorized use . To connect to our security department press 1. Security department asks for your eleven number credit card number. TOTAL SCAM!
Also stated I was getting a tax refund of $54 and the recording went on and on but what got me irate was the call came at 2 A.M.!!! I'm filing a coplaint with the Do Not Call Registry.
This number belongs to a legitimate business. They are the victim of phone number spoofing. They have nothing to do with the scam. Do not call them as they are already getting a lot of calls.
