Was woken up at 12:30 A.M. with a call from this number to my cell phone. A recording says my mastercard from 5th 3rd bank was suspended and to press 1 for more information. Since I don't have a credit card it was a no brainer. What astounds me is that these calls have been being made for at least four years now, seeing the original dates on this forum going back to 2010. Also, the Do Not Call registry only applies to legitimate businesses trying to sell you something. It doesn't keep scum bags from calling random numbers in the middle of the night, sadly.
Got a call from this number 408-942-9800 on May 29 at 3:20 PM. The recorded message said my atm card was being cancelled for unauthorized use. I hung up and checked my accounts. This is a dangerous scam. Hope they find these guys and lock them up!!
They said it was Coors Credit Union.
I knew it was a scam, so I hit 1 to reactivate and gave it 1111222233334444 for a number. Either they are too stupid to ask for an expiration date or it is smart enough to realize it was a bogus number. Next time.. i"ll give it a number from a used up gift card and see what happens
