I have recieved about 50 calls in the last 2 days from various numbers. When I do answer, it is always a thick Indian accent and trying to give me something I have won. How do I get these calls to stop? I called my cell phone company and blocked 4 numbers, the most frquently used, but calls still come in...

I spoke politely asking how much my dedt was. Answered me with $3,000
Ask if she new my name, she answered with my last name.
I ask her to remove my name from call list.
She said: "You will get 50 more calls you [***]" then she hung up.
That was the most I have ever gotten them to speak to me. They ussually just hang up when you do not answer the questions the way they want you to.
Caller ID said Echosystems. They wanted to lower all my credit cards to 6.9% interest. They said there would be no fee. After I spoke they tried to tell me at the end it was gonna cost $890.00. And I said No, before the other person said there was no fee. After I gave 2 credit cards information I had to call them and cancel my cards just in case something fishy was going on. I learned my lesson and will never do that again on the phone.
I am sure the same idiots or the ones associated with them told somebody else they would the interest rate to 4.9%. Never ever trust a word that comes out of their mouths.
I learned a lesson. I've always done it threw the mail, transfering balances and that. But with the economy, I haven't received and mail offers so this sounded good. It will never be good for me on the phone ever again..
