I have recieved about 50 calls in the last 2 days from various numbers. When I do answer, it is always a thick Indian accent and trying to give me something I have won. How do I get these calls to stop? I called my cell phone company and blocked 4 numbers, the most frquently used, but calls still come in...
I get tipsy and start talking to them. I can't wait to catch them.. I am a person that don't answer my phone anyways so it is not too bothersome..
If you ask them to give you all of YOUR information that they have and don't waiver from that by anymenas. Continue to ask and harrass them for that information.. sound very interested, yet dumb but don't give them information keep asking them to give it to you. You will irritate them to a point where they will stop.
" Hi, how are you. Who are calling for?" (My first name is commonly pronounced wrong, because of a silent letter, I usually get them with that a few times.. telling them a person by that name is not at this phone number)
"What is the name of your company? What type of company is it? And what are you calling about?' oh you want to lower my interest rate? THAT IS WONDERFEUL! on which credit card?" (I don't have any credit cards) At that moment I am asked for my information and that is when I restate, "again, which card do you think that I can lower?"
Do no waiver from constantly asking them questions, and the frustration will build. Continue with these questions in a sarcastic tone.
I had one guy admit it. I kept laughing saying, "this ain't no real company is it? stop playing" <-- yes I said 'aint no'..
Wow, I can't believe there are people out there who respond and give out numbers. That is why this stuff continues. It's like giving out this kind of information to someone online...BAD, BAD, BAD!
The big mistake is talking to someone. Once you engage them in conversation they want to sell you something and I even hung up on them and now they call several times a day.
I am reporting them to Do Not Call .org.

This number calls several times a week. I have pressed 1 and asked politely and not so politely for them to stop calling but they hang up before I can even finish my sentence. Arrrrgh!!! Don't know how to stop them.
