Received call Womens Cancer 412-385-2368 on June 30. Answered and nobody there. From other replies and also vague who call is from screams SCAM. Going on 5 years as a woman cancer survivor, I can say from personal experience American Cancer Society was very helpful and supportive for me throughout treatments. Offered home help, rides for appointments, discounted wigs and scarfs, gift card for mileage to longer distance appointments, very grateful to them. Would give money to American Cancer Society, not this SCAM.
received calls from both Pittsburgh and Philly , woman said womens cancer, said most people give $50. said they accept Visa, Master Charge, and american express. Told her to send info and I would send check. She said it must be back in 2 - 3 days and was persistant about using card. Said she would send info and ended the call. She already had my mailing address. The first woman will transfer U to a second woman that speaks very broken english to verify mailing address. Don't accept calls from 412-385-2368 or 215-383-0832 SCAMMERS
[***] said she has been calling for days. We accidently picked up as we thought it was a legitimate call. She wanted us to send out letters to solicit more money for cancer. What nerve there is enough cancer in the country already. We need stop these fuc**ers somehow. Anybody have an address for me cause I'll go down and confront them in person.
Got two calls so far. One from 215 area code yesterday and one from 412 area code today. Both said womens cancer on caller ID. I am a breast cancer survivor and it really ticks me off that they would scam people! We have not answered and will not.
