Today I got a call from this number too. Same description as everyone else's here. A guy with Indian accent left a voice message claiming there is security issue with immigration bureau threatening legal action if we don't reply his call.
This is hilarious. I got the same call. Could barely understand this guy. It was obviously a recorded message because it was the exact same message both times. Do people actually fall for this shi...

Febuary 19,2014 I received a call on my home phone demanding that he speak with my spouse about a miscalculation on my income tax return.Indian accent and rough nature of speaking. I googled the number and the number given to me had already been reported as a Scam.

My son was called from this number and wanted to talk to him about his car. They left a voice mail. I then called the number and got answering machine that said IRS. I called again and got a live person who claimed to be from the IRS and wanted $900.00. They told me to go to CVS and send the money before noon tomorrow or I would be arrested by the sheriff. They claimed I had not been paying my taxes and that there was an error in the calculations of my 2011 return. When I told him the IRS does not conduct business over the phone, he responded that I had not been contacting them and I needed to let him do his job.
Please everbody, tell 'em the US National Security Agency is monitoring his call and his call center has been targeted for a drone strike in the near future. Tell 'em all Indian phone scammers are now declared terrorists by the US. Tell 'em you read about in in the Times of India.
Actually the NSA does monitor all calls coming into the US from abroad, from what I've read.
