These folks are either doing some sorta scare tactic scam, or thier obviously not very good at conducting business over the phone...I'll be contacting the office of the FBI, and turning this site and the information I already have to them. I got a call yesterday from 8119148855 which sparked all this insanity. The man called and said I was approved for a payday loan. I told him politely I wasn't interested many times, but he wouldn't let me off the phone. I finally got irate and started cursing at him, and to my surprise he started right back at me. I asked to speak to his supervisor 3 times before I finally got on the line with one and the supervisor told me that I needed to apologize to his agent for being rude. The agent threatened to give my number to every telemarketer he knew, and that he was going to pass my information on to the FBI. This lovely Saturday morning at the gruesome hour of 8am I get a call from this 4154846151 number. I answer and say hello a couple times before the line disconnects. I call back and get a female Indian agent. I told her I just got a call from this number and got hung up on, and she informs me that the police will be at my house the next day to arrest me for not paying back my loan and that she would need some information from me to build a case against me. When I laughed and asked if she was kidding, she hung up. I called back and talked to another man... due to lack of sleep and utter disbelief of all the sh*t i got myslf into over the last 24 hours I got a little teary. He told me that the calls would stop by Monday, and that I should enjoy my weekend. 2 hours later another phone call, informing me of the same things. I told the man that the agent I talked to this morning assured me I wouldn't be recieving anymore phone calls from them. He said thanky ou and hung up... Guess we'll see what else is in store for me.!
This is a SCAM 100%! I got a call from them this morning, very threatening phone call saying if I didn't comply, that they would send the sheriff's department out to arrest me. Once I called them out on being a scam, they hung up on me. They called me back later and said that I "better listen good" and they just got off the phone with the sheriff's department and they were on the way to arrest me. I responded by saying that I just got off the phone with the sheriff's department as well and that the sheriff informed me that they were a scam and the guy told me to "go f*** myself" and hung up. After doing a bit of research, I found out that they are out of India and run a criminal extortion circuit where they scam money out of innocent people by telling them they are being sued and arrested unless they pay a certain amount of money. I called them back and told them that I talked to the FBI and that they had been tracked down and were going to be indicted on criminal extortion charges and they cussed me out again and hung up on me.
II knew something was wrong right away. As the first thing he asked was "do I have a lawyer?". That I was being arrested. The local authorities should have already served me. When I asked "my local authorities? Who is that?". He stated the wrong authorities. The problem is. How many people they take money from.
