NEVER, EVER believe ANYTHING on these calls...especially automated ones. Do not give out any personal info, bank info, credit card info etc. Tell your children, your parents especially elderly parents and any seniors you may know to do the same! Don't be a victim!
They can't be caught, they are Indian or Pakistani hard core scammer/extortinoinsts and beyond the reach of US law. Call blocker is your best bet and do not pick up on calls you do not recognize.
First of all, a real person of the IRS (Julie smith) wouldn't generate a computerized voice, they would call you personally and leave a personal message. When I heard her voice I instantly knew something was wrong with this picture.
Received a call today Thursday at 10:20am. She left a message stating that she was from the "IRS" and that I needed to call back immediately before further action was taken.
Received a call and message stating I needed to call back immediately or action would be taken! Called back and when a Mann answered he said Internal Revenue Service! Told him I received a call and he hung up on me! SCAM FOR SURE!!!
