NEVER, EVER believe ANYTHING on these calls...especially automated ones. Do not give out any personal info, bank info, credit card info etc. Tell your children, your parents especially elderly parents and any seniors you may know to do the same! Don't be a victim!
Came from a "Julie Smith" who said she was with the Internal Revenue Service- threatening to take action if the call was not returned. I'm sure it is a scam but they should be reported and fined.
I just got call from "The IRS" and said that this call was important, when I called the number 415-506-2398 this low life that hardly speaks English starting talking to me and I said I don't understand and he just hung -up the call, so I called him up again and asked him for his IS number and name and he said his name was JOSE (funny because the funny accent he had was not from a Jose maybe like an Akmed), he gave me his Id 100288103. so keep it in mind these people have nothing better to do than to make honest people upset and try to scam us. Be careful he did not have my correct address nor he had any good info from me.
Yep they are at it again today. I just got the voice mail from "Julie Smith". Same deal as the rest of the posts. I guess they figured I was skeptical because after the read the "charges" against me, he basically hung up on me. you can log this scam at the www.tigta.gov webstie.
