DO NOT ANSWER PHONE....DO NOT CALL BACK....THEY DON'T CARE..
THEY ARE FISHING FOR VIABLE PHONE NUMBERS AND WHEN YOU ANSWER THAT JUST VERIFIES YOU OWN THE PHONE......DON'T PRESS "1". Either . That lets them get more info....they then sell your number to other companies and you wind up getting more calls. It's annoying for sure but just let it ring, after awhile calls will decrease....I only get maybe 3 a week. Now...just steel yourself, don't answer, check your caller ID. Most of the time they are robocalls....why do you think most don't speak.....they just want viable numbers which you give them when you answer or call back.
call came in late at nigh have caller Id- do not pick up and report all calls although have do not call it means nothing-these callers are like [***] roaches- nothing deters them----
St Judes would have a better chance of getting a "miracle" gift from The Almighty than a donation from me. I DO NOT LIKE phone spammers, scammers, crammers. Go legitimate or self-destruct.
I'd guess this is a scam. I got a call from this number claiming they were with Heifer International, and they wanted me to make a donation with my credit card, which I refused.
I called Heifer today, and was told that they do not solicit donations by phone; if you call them, they will gladly take a donation, but they don't call you. So DO NOT give your credit card number to someone who calls from this number.
1. If uou are on the Do Not Call list, these people can be reported via that web site. I have reported three already.
2. If you have donated to an organization and they have that info, the organization probably sold your information. Complain to them and re-think your donation process.
