DO NOT ANSWER PHONE....DO NOT CALL BACK....THEY DON'T CARE..
THEY ARE FISHING FOR VIABLE PHONE NUMBERS AND WHEN YOU ANSWER THAT JUST VERIFIES YOU OWN THE PHONE......DON'T PRESS "1". Either . That lets them get more info....they then sell your number to other companies and you wind up getting more calls. It's annoying for sure but just let it ring, after awhile calls will decrease....I only get maybe 3 a week. Now...just steel yourself, don't answer, check your caller ID. Most of the time they are robocalls....why do you think most don't speak.....they just want viable numbers which you give them when you answer or call back.
Received call 4/20/13, 1:12 Eastern from this number. Guy said he was from Salvation Army. When I asked what his number was, he did not answer and hung up.
I just received a call from this number. They said the were from MDS for Chosen People Ministries which is a legitimate Christian ministry I have dealt with in the past. The telemarketers website states, "MDS provides a complete array of telephone fundraising services for non-profit organizations. Outstanding results, unparalleled quality, reasonable prices and attentive customer service have led many of the nation’s largest and most respected non-profit organizations to partner with MDS Communications." If you go to their website (http://www.mdscom.com/) there is a place at the bottom to be put on their 'Do Not Call' list.
