According to Whitepages.com: 4158022996 is a VoIP number provided by Bandwidth SMSEnabled with an area code in CA.
However, it also states that it is a "mobile phone owner"! I suspect that the number has been spoofed!
Based upon other comments, will block this number!
Called this evening, caller ID "TAX HELP CENTER." Number is a Bandwidth SMSEnabled VoIP in San Francisco, CA. A VoIP call center can be thrown in a suitcase and all hardware evacuated if the perps hear sirens, so that is a YUGE red flag. We are on the DNC list so that's assurance that blind commercial calls are crooks.
Scammers. They answered the call with yelling TAXES PAY THEM NOW! The government doesn't need to call you to rape your finances. They do it day to day without your permission or notification.
