Called at 9:15 pm today, identified themselves as Jeremy from Windows Tech Support. I told them it was too late for them to be calling and that I had a Mac computer so didn't need Windows Tech Support. Hung up on them. They called back 5 times after I hung up on them until I blew a whistle in their ears. Didn't call back again.
Standard "Windows Tech Support is reporting a problem with your computer". I went along for a while until they hung up on me, I was asking too many questions.
That is also a great to anger these tech support telemaggoters since they have a history of using vulgar language if they don't get their way. They gave also been known to call people back repeatedly for the very same reason. I would much rather block their number or simply ignore the call altogether.
Called at 10:30 pm. Said they detected a problem with our Windows computer. Sorry, we have apple. I told them take me off your list and they hung up. I called the number on caller id and it said the number had been disconnected.
