Idiots called at 11:34 pm and I let the call go to answering machine. They left no message. Caller ID said Springfield, MO. My phone number is on the FCC Do Not Call List and I have a strong desire to strangle the fools.
Called at 9:14 am EST. Man in Indian accent claimed to be Apple technical support. Lots of background noise. Said there was a vulnerability Thad needed urgent attention. I asked for an emai to be sent. He abruptly hung up. This is a scam.
10:15pm CST called said she was from Microsoft about my computer. I told her she was a scammer. Lots of giggling & noise in the background. After I told her she was a scammer, she hung up. Got one of these calls last year on Thanksgiving. Idiots
Called after 10:00pm AZ time and heard music then line disconnected... Past article on consumerist.com said that windows support scammers were shut down.. guess they missed this one!!!
