Just received a phone call from 1-419-474-9385. I picked it up and a man said good afternoon I'm with the Maryland's Sheriff's Department and I'm calling regarding the dangers of drinking and driving. To make people aware of this problem i was wondering if you would care to donate either $25.00 or $35.00 to the Maryland's Sheriff's Dept. While he was talking I looked up the area code in the phone book and it was Ohio. So I asked him what the hell is someone calling me from a Ohio number wanting money from someone living in Maryland, he hung up.
PLEASE report this number to the federal trade commission wth any and all information that you have reguarding the origination or purpose of the call. i have already done this as i am tired of feeling harrassed. i was given a reference number and advised to call back if i recieved more calls or if i gain any further information on the matter.
