They keep calling me. I am to make payments on some magazines. I gave a girl about 17.00 for her education and got a motorcycle magazine that I didn't want. Could not call the company tried on line to no avail. Lately got calls and said I didn't want magazines and never order motorcycle magazines. they don't quite. Told them I got scammed and just take me off the list or I will report them.
they called me about some magazine subscription they said I was recieving in a different state, right address, but have not been at it for a year. she wanted to update my address, but I asked her (again) what magazine. she replied that I should be receiving 4-5 mags a month. she then ask me again if I was getting the magazines, and I told her no (again) she just hung up. professionals wouldn't do this when you ask a legit question like this. very suspicious. Trolls
I got a call from some magazine company telling me that they were going to send me magazine, they had my credit card number and I told them they were NOT to charge my card.
They ignored my request and charged my card $49.98, I tried to call them back and their number is disconnected.
I now have to go to my credit union and dispute the charge and they my have to issue me a new credit card.
You can also look online and see that the BBB in Denver has warned people that this "company" is not to be trusted.
They also have their company listed as being in Denver but when I called my cell phone provider, they said that company was not even in Colorado.
They have their address listed as
Magazine Connection
1600 Champa Street
Denver, Colorado 80202
They told me the first package would be $5 and some change and they charge my card $29 and some change. The number they gave me to cancel it doesn't work. I'm really [***] pissed off.
