Who called from 4253368014

Now they have called about 4 times in the last month and seemed to be pressing me to update my credit card # stating that the bill just keeps racking up and that the card PROBABLY expired so I should update my credit card info and exp date so they could lower my payment from $49 to just $16 a month.  One time my caller id showed the number they called from was 937 648-3892 which is the same area code I live in.  I immediately called that number back and msg said "phone has been disconnected."   I'm sure they are trying to scam me and as a result I'm checking my credit card accounts almost daily expecting to find an unauthorized charge.  Until I see a fradulant charge I guess there's not much I can do ....Previously I asked to talk to a supervisor and the person said they would have to call back.  Today, while talking to the solicitor I asked to talk to a supervisor and she got on the line, only to hang up as I was explaining that I never ordered mags, never been billed, buy yet get a wide range of mags.  A legitimate business would never treat its customers this way.

I receive multiple calls from multiple numbers. They switch numbers all the time.  I have had so many calls, one time I recognized the woman's voice from a different company. This 425-336-8014 has started calling me. When I informed her that I did not have a magazine subscription and to take me off the calling list. She stated the subscription was about to increase. I asked her to cancel it and she said it couldn't be cancelled until the subscription expired. (Note, I have been dealing with these magazine folks for nearly a year.....different companies, different numbers, same story). I do not have a subscription! So anyway, today I asked the lady to email me with all the details of my account, her name, her employee ID number, a return phone number, and a return address on official company letterhead. She got hostile and begin raising her voice at me. I told her to let me finish talking. She said "No. I called you. You let me talk". So then I told her I knew this was a scam and I have been documenting all calls and have reported it to the Better Business Bureau. She hung up on me. She did not identify a company today. But in the past companies have been America's Reader Choice, and PC Mags out of Florida. It is noted on Florida's BBB page that it is a scam. Each time I record the number and try to call back, it is either not working or no answer. The Florida address was not even a real PO Box.  I too had a fraudulent charge on my credit card. I cancelled it to stop any further activity. Now I think I may have to change my number. Good luck everyone. Tell them you know it is a scam and you are reporting it.

I keep getting calls from magazine places saying that I am being charged on my credit card for magazines and that is not happening.  They then say it will go to a collection place but their are no charges on my card for magazines.  I hang up on them and then a couple days or even that same day they call back.

I am so tired of these people calling me from this #. The woman who called last week said it was just a courtesy call to make sure I was still getting my magazines and I kept telling her I had cancelled any and all subscriptions. She said well, it says here that you are getting your magazines. Now how the heck does she know if I am getting any magazines or not?  I told her I was getting NOTHING and to stop bugging me.  I'm turning them (whomever "they" are) over to the BBB if they do not stop calling me.

Called and told me they wanted to reduce my payments because I am almost done with my service.    Then they wanted to "verify" my credit card info.   "I am looking at your credit card number on my screen, I just need you to verify all 16 digits for me!"     Knew then it was a scam!  Told them no then they kept hounding and said they can't reduce my payments.   Just hung up on them.
